Is Teresa crazy?  Kate the teacher has a grudge against Allen.  Who took Emma?  Read it to find out…

10/10

Mark Stevens ~ No Lie Lasts Forever

I’m sorry I didn’t make many notes about this book.  Must have been a September read.

Rachel Howzell Hall ~ Fog and Fury

Started this book on 12/17/25.  Finished on 12/30/25
First time reading author.  Let’s see how it plays out.

Story line was good.  Characters well written.  Not too many characters to remember.  Chapters were fairly short.
A young football high school star has to move to a new town and isn’t liked by the new team.  He gets unalived and Alyson Rush, the new P.I. in town has to solve the case when the Haven police won’t touch it.  Secrets crawl out of the fog.  Did the racists do it?  Did one of his team mates do it?  Who stole the dog?

Read it and find out.
I’m giving this book a 9/10 for keeping my interest and short chapters.

Nate Chinen ~ Playing Changes

Jazz book.  I liked it.  Last few chapters were about new jazz so I skimmed those.

Giving this a 9 out of 10.

Well this book is based on the true story of Shasta Groenig.
It’s sick.  It’s tough to read.  I didn’t love it.
Serial killer Edward Dunkin kidnapped 2 children after killing their family.

Ellery Lloyd ~ Bad Date

It was just OK.  Short story maybe 100 pages.  It didn’t really keep my interest very much.

Wolf, the son of a wealthy pod caster is a murderer.  He murders mom’s boyfriends.
Until the night he didn’t finish the murder and his mother called the cops.
