Just finished Naked Prey.  Starting this book on 6/10/26.  Never read this author.  Amazon First Read.  Story line looks fine.

Finished this book on 6/20/26.  10 days.  Great book.  Kept my interest the whole way.  Characters are very well written and chapters were short.

Imagine being dropped off on a remote island and walking right into the middle of a family feud.  Then finding money in the ocean.  Then meeting some weird light house keepers.  Yep, the “Storm of the Century” is coming as well.  How do you get out of that trouble?

You’ll have to read the book to find out.

Giving this book a 9/10.  It’s memorable.

Started on 5/26/26.  Back to my old buddy Lucas Davenport.  Him and Weather have moved into the new house with the new baby.
Finished on 6/10/26.  15 Days.  Not to bad for a Davenport book.

Lucas gets called up to northern Minnesota to 2 bodies lynched and naked.  He takes Del with him.  Cold and without much to go on they have to wait for more things to unfold.  Enter Letty.  The young girl who Lucas uses for information at first then gets a soft spot in his heart for her.  Letty’s mom gets murdered and her house burned up.  They catch the killer and Lucas gets his guy.

Chapters (just like most Sandford books) are long.  Characters get kind of jumbled in this story but the star characters really shine.
