Amazon first read.  Book 1 Kate Marino Thriller.  Started on 8/7/26
I’ve read Mike before.  I’m pretty sure I’m going to enjoy this one!

Finished 8/25/26.  18 days.  Not to bad.

Kate gets herself and her dogs into trouble.  The dogs get her out of trouble.
Her niece gets kidnapped and Kate has to find her.  The suspect list grows short and it seems to be one of their own.

Chapters were short and characters very well written.
I liked the story.  Giving this book an 8/10

Started on 7/28/26.  Amazon first read.  Only a few chapters in so far it’s OK.
Finished on 8/6/26.  9 days.
Carrisa is a writer with writers block.  She’s looking for a story.  She gets a job at a nut shoppe and befriends Rebel a young girl aspiring to become a writer.  Or so she thinks.

The SSS is the high school writers club that both C & R belonged to.  Mr. H is a bad dude who grooms girls for sex.
Is he the killer?  Who murdered Tamara & Christian?

I like the book.  Chapters were short and characters were very well written.  It didn’t take long to get to the “meat” and keep me interested.
